VyprVPN IKEv2 VPN Setup for Windows 10

 How to Configure

  1.  Click on the Start menu.
  2.  Click on Settings.
  3.  Click Network & Internet from the Settings menu.
  4.  Select VPN from the left side of the window.
  5.  Click Add a VPN connection.
  6.  Fill out the settings listed in the box below.
VPN provider: Windows (built-in)
Connection Name: VyprVPN
Server name or address: See server list
VPN type: IKEv2
Type of sign-in info: User name and password
User name (optional): Your Golden Frog email address
Password (optional): Your Golden Frog password
Remember my sign-in info: Checked
  1. Click Save.
  2. You will now see the connection in the Network & Internet window under VPN.
  3. Within this same window, click Change adapter options.
  4. In the popup Network Connections window, click the VPN connection you just setup to select it. If you followed the above instructions naming it VyprVPN, it will look like:

WAN Miniport (IKEv2) 
  1. Click Change settings of this connection.
  2. In the popup Properties window, click the Networking tab.
  3. Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) to highlight it.
  4. Click Properties button.
  5. In the popup Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, click the Advanced button.
  6. Check the box for Use default gateway on remote network.
  7. Click the OK button for each of the popup windows.
  8. You may close the Network Connections window and the Network & Internet window.

How to Connect

  1.  Click on the Start menu.
  2.  Click on Settings.
  3.  Click on Network & Internet from the Settings menu.
  4.  Select VPN from the left side of the window.
  5.  Click on VyprVPN and then click the Connect button.
  6.  You are now connected to VyprVPN! Click Disconnect from this screen at any time to disconnect from the service.
